So last night I stayed in a room lacking in other hairy, farting, snoring, peanut eating, getting up far too early, Stupid Yank, Fat Kiwi, Island of Dr Moreau creature, men for the first time in about one and a half months... it was bliss!
I'd forgotten what it was like to spend anytime on my own just reading or watching TV, without being surrounded by 20 other people.
So I might even have some home cooked food tonight, instead of living on $4 Green Thai Currys and Pizza and Indian food all of which were fantastic I must say, but a change might be nice.
Think I'm of to the Trots at Harold Park again tomorrow so we can all get fed and drunk on $10... classy.
Right better get back to work.

Apologies for not updating this in while.
So im leaving the hostel tomorrow for a brief stay in Gill and Davids house as David is off to the UK for 2 weeks holiday, and Gill doesn't want to stay on here own with their new Kiwi flat mate, so I get Dave's room.
At the hostel, when I got back from work I find some of the people have blown up my picture from British Balls Bloke of the Week and put it up all round the hostel with "All eyes on Matt!" The downside of fame.
The weekend just gone was ANZAC weekend, Aussie equivalent to Remberance day so we got monday off, which meant it was a big party weekend for the usual suspects ( Me, David, Gill, Donna, Steve, Mike, Ben, Dani, etc) ending in a BBQ at Paul's yesterday. Was great fun as usual will spend the week recovering to do it all again next week!!

Ugh!
Im recovering from my party on the roof, which was pretty cool. When I finished work at five i arrived back to find the roof decorated with balloons and streamers and everyone wearing Spiderman party hats with party poppers! All thanks to young Sammatha and David my mates here at the hostel. So we got a case of beer and started on the vodka watermelon..... they even got me a cake with candles!! All very nice I remember stumbling around the hostel later on trying to force cake on to people " Cake or Death!" which i thought was really funny but no one else watchs Eddie Izzard as much as me.....
Easter
04.07.04 (8:23 am) [edit][b]Month 4 (well almost)[/b]
Summer is finally over and the weather here is very strange. It can be really sunny and warm one day and cold and wet the next.
Im looking forward to the long weekend, no plans for friday, but on Saturday we are heading off on a pub crawl around the Rocks or Paddington, (probably both) Sunday Im off around to Dave's and Gill's where everyone who survived the pub crawl is meeting for Easter dinner, Monday I'll be recovering in time for my birthday on Tuesday. Not sure what I'm going to do for that, a few people suggest a Party on the Hostel roof ( they have a sun roof garden thingy).
